-The ER9 BOE included The Nest in the May 2nd referendum with additional proposed improvements to the stadium area! The Nest will contain much needed ADA compliant bathrooms, team rooms with an area for trainers to treat injuries, a concession area and ticket sales area, as well as AED (automated external defibrillator). Currently at the stadium field there are only porta pottys, which are not easily accessible by anyone with a handicap disability or elderly community members, teams utilize unfinished and unheated storage sheds during games, and concessions are limited to one portable grill. Additionally, youth sports participants have no areas to change for practices/games or fill water bottles. Additional parking will alleviate congestion near the old tennis courts and Cricklewood.
-The project will be bonded, and repayment of the bond is through ER9's existing approved Operating Budget Debt Service.
-TAXES WILL NOT INCREASE!!! Currently ER9's Debt Service has reduced, year over year, due to their proper management of the budget and repayment of prior bonds.
-The ER9 Budget is SHARED by the towns of Redding and Easton and repayment of Capital Improvements is split between both towns (based on yearly student enrollment at JBHS).
-Field J has been converted to turf and will be dedicated to sports like lacrosse, soccer and field hockey. The addition of a turf field allows practice and game schedules to remain consistent and student athletes to get home earlier. Redding and Easton youth sports would also have better access allowing seasons to start on time and have fewer weather related cancellations!

All of your time, effort, and donations have made huge impacts! Look out for our next fundraiser!
We are parents, neighbors, alumni and fans of Barlow who recognize that the current facilities require updating.
Our first goal is to build a clubhouse that will inspire both school and community spirit. This would include ADA compliant bathrooms, a team room with space for the trainer to treat injuries, equipment storage, and a concession stand. This clubhouse would honor the late Jordan Wright and the late Phil Falcone.
It started with an idea in 2017… by 2019 we knew we had support in both Easton and Redding. One person saw a need for accessible bathrooms and a team room, another saw an opportunity to honor people no longer with us, another, a better setting for their children, another an opportunity for community spirit and another a more desirable school setting for both towns.
Every little bit counts!
HEY ALL YOU FALCON FANS!
