The Nest would have ADA compliant bathrooms, team rooms, an area for trainers to treat injuries, a concession area and an AED station. Currently at the stadium field there are only porta-pottys, which are not easily accessible by elderly community members and inaccessible to anyone in a wheelchair. The teams utilize unfinished and unheated storage sheds during games, and concessions are limited to one portable grill. Additionally, sports participants have no areas to change for practices/games or fill water bottles…these conditions make The Nest a necessity. The project will not increase taxes
